Our Mission in Action

At Lubbock Christian School, our mission goes beyond academics—it is lived out daily through faith, service, and community engagement. Students actively participate in meaningful experiences that strengthen their spiritual growth, leadership, and compassion for others.
Each year, the High School Retreat serves as a powerful time of faith-building and fellowship, bringing students together to worship, reflect, and bond outside the classroom. This retreat fosters spiritual renewal and reinforces the importance of Christian community in their daily lives.

Missions Week is a cornerstone of our service commitment, offering students across all grade levels opportunities to give back locally, regionally, nationally, and globally. Whether through mission trips, community outreach projects, or hands-on service activities, students actively live out their faith by helping those in need and sharing God’s love in tangible ways.
Our dedication to service extends into the local community, where students work with organizations including Open Door, Toys for Tots, Lubbock Dream Center, and more. Through these partnerships, students support individuals experiencing homelessness, hunger, and hardship, providing assistance through volunteering, fundraising, and donation drives. These experiences teach students the power of selflessness and servant leadership.

The Eagle Buddies program fosters strong connections between our secondary and elementary students, pairing older students with younger ones to create mentorship and encouragement. This initiative helps develop leadership skills in older students while giving younger ones positive role models, strengthening the sense of family and unity within our school.
Through these initiatives and others, our students learn that true leadership comes from a heart of service. At LCS, our mission is not just a statement—it’s a call to action, shaping students into faith-driven, compassionate individuals who make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond.
