Exciting New Robotics Program Launches at Lubbock Christian School

As part of our STEM focus, LCS has launched a Robotics Club.

The LCS Robotics Club is a group of 4th-8th grade students, who share a common interest in building, designing, and programming robots. The club focuses on hands-on projects and teamwork, offering a space to learn and apply concepts from fields like engineering, computer science, and electronics.

Members may work together to design robots for various purposes, such as competitions, research, or even community service. We explore different robotic equipment, such as Eros, Spikes, Ozobots, and EV3’s Lego Kits.

The club often provides a fun and educational environment where people can develop skills in problem-solving, creativity, coding, and mechanical design. Overall, the Robotics Club is a great place to innovate, collaborate, and dive into the world of technology. The club meets two Tuesdays a month after school from 4:15-5:15.  (See full schedule below.)
