The Lubbock Christian School Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is an organization that exists to serve as a channel of communication between school administration and all stakeholders. The PAC meets the Tuesday morning after each scheduled Monday night Lubbock Christian School Board meeting at 7:00 AM in the parlor of the Administration Building. There, we discuss many topics such as academics, finances, facilities, student life, missions, policies, etc. That same day at noon we invite all stakeholders to bring a “brown bag” lunch and hear the President and PAC members discuss these same topics with the LCS parents and friends. PAC members serve a 3-year term and are selected by the committee itself.
It has been said that in the absence of factual communication, information is made up. The main purpose of the PAC is to provide factual and timely information about our school and to create liaisons to bridge the communication gap between school and stakeholders.
