DAR- Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarships
Due: January 31
Amount: Varies. Multiple scholarship opportunities are available in various categories, including general scholarships, specific college majors, and those specifically for Native American Indian/Indigenous students.

HSF Scholar (Hispanic Scholarship Fund)
Due: February 15
Amount: Ranges from $500-$5,000 based on relative need. HSF selects approximately 10,000 students as HSF scholars.
Qualifications: Student must be of Hispanic heritage and a U.S. Citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA with a minimum 3.0 GPA, plan to enroll full-time in public or not-for-profit 4-year university, and submit the FAFSA.

Panhandle-Plains Higher Education Foundation Windmill Scholarship
Due: February 15
Qualifications: Must currently reside in one of the Texas Counties within the PPHEF service area for scholarship consideration. Eligibility will be assessed by reviewing information concerning academic performance, financial need, extracurricular activities, leadership, and references provided in the application process.

Amount: $1,000 & $1,500
Qualifications: Member of the Farm Bureau family, and the student must submit an essay.

Golden Spread Electric Coop Scholarship

Amount: $2,000
Qualifications: Member of a rural electric cooperative which is an owner (member) of Golden Spread Electric Cooperative, Inc., and student must exhibit integrity, character, and goals. Academic scholarship is a factor, but is not the sole criterion.

Texas Rural Electric Women’s Association Scholarship
Due: March 15
Amount: $1,500 (20 scholarships will be awarded)
Qualifications: Student must demonstrate leadership, personal financial need, and energy awareness through the submission of an essay exhibiting general knowledge of the rural electric program. High school grades are not the sole deciding factor in the scholarship award selection process.

Bryson McCarty Memorial Scholarship
Due: March 15
Amount: (2) $1,000 each
Qualifications: Must reside in Lubbock, Lamb, Hale, or Hockley county. Student must be a high school senior accepted into an accredited junior college or trade school and must be going into an agriculture-related field of study at an agriculture-related trade school. Must be a US citizen, show financial need and complete an essay question. GPA, extracurricular activities, career statement, and financial need statement are not required but may assist in the selection process.

Capital Farm Credit Youth Scholarship Program
Due: March 29
Amount: $1,000
Qualifications: Funds shall be used to attend an accredited vocational or technical school, college, or university. 
Students must maintain full-time status. Applicants must be high school seniors, graduating within the current school year. Applicants must demonstrate that they have a tentative educational plan and goals related to fields in agriculture or natural resources (may include Ag Communications, Ag Economics/Business, Ag Education, Wildlife or Ranch Management, etc.). Applicants must include the following documents for consideration: a completed application along with a copy of a recent high school transcript, and 2 letters of recommendation.

Amount: Varies, but it has usually been $2,000
Qualifications: Student must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, and community involvement.

2022 Don't Mess with Texas Scholarship
Due: March 31
Amount: Total of $9,000 awarded through multiple scholarships
Qualifications: Any Texas high school senior currently attending public, private, or home school in Texas who is planning to pursue a two- or four-year degree at an accredited college or university in the state of Texas may apply.

South Plains Telephone Cooperative Scholarship
Due: April 1
Amount: Two (2) $1,500 Scholarships are available
Qualifications: Student must be a graduating senior with a minimum GPA of 2.50, the child/dependent of a current member of SPTC, and currently receiving telephone service from SPTC. Please refer to the eligibility information for more information.

Mike Rowe Works Foundation
Due: April 14
Amount: Varies
Qualifications: Must enroll in an approved program, answer 4 questions about the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge, and submit (a) a video, (b) 2 references from a teacher or boss, (c) school cost verification, (d) high school transcripts, and (e) recent 1040 tax form.

15 and the Mahomies Foundation
Due: July 30th
Amount: $10,000
Qualifications: This scholarship seeks to support students from Lubbock County who are exceptional members of their community and who are hoping to give back through their pursuit of higher education.

Any high school senior in Lubbock County, Texas, who has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership qualities, and active community involvement may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
