College Week is a campus-wide celebration designed to help students and families prepare for what’s next. Throughout the week, Lubbock Christian School will engage Elementary, Middle School, High School, and our broader community in meaningful conversations and experiences centered on college, career readiness, and future pathways.

From expert guidance for parents, to high-energy campus events, to hands-on exploration with colleges and professionals, College Week reflects our commitment to walking alongside students at every stage of their journey. As the college landscape changes, LCS remains focused on providing clarity, support, and purpose-driven preparation.

College Week is March 30-April 2, 2026.
See the sections below for the full schedule of events.

What's next starts here.

MONDAY, MARCH 30

6:00 PM @ Peoples Bank Eagle Athletic Center
For Parents + Students + Community

College Night is an informative evening designed to equip families with practical, current guidance on preparing for college. While all families are welcome, this event is especially valuable for parents of middle school and high school students navigating admissions, financial aid, and post-graduation planning.

The evening will feature a fireside chat with college admissions representatives, a panel of college professionals from regional institutions, and a live audience Q&A. Topics include admissions trends, scholarships and financial aid, academic pathways, honors programs, dual credit vs. AP, and how parents can best support students through the process. A scholarship giveaway will also be awarded to an LCS student in attendance.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1

During the School Day
For Middle School + High School Students

The Campus College Fair is a come-and-go, interactive experience that allows students to explore a wide range of colleges, universities, and technical programs. With scheduled rotations by grade level, students will have opportunities to engage directly with admissions representatives, ask questions, and learn more about majors, careers, and academic pathways.

Representatives from approximately 20 institutions will be on campus, providing students with valuable exposure and helping them begin or refine their college planning process.

TUESDAY, MARCH 31

During All School Chapel
For PK3 through 12th Grade Students

Tuesday’s All School Chapel is a high-energy celebration of College Week, bringing students together from PK3 through 12th grade. Students are encouraged to wear college t-shirts as we highlight future opportunities, access, and purpose.

The program will feature a guest speaker, college mascots, college student groups, and special guests who bring excitement and energy to campus. The focus of this Chapel is to inspire students to dream big, explore future pathways, and see how faith and purpose play a role in every journey.

THURSDAY, APRIL 2

During the School Day
For PK3 through 12th Grade Students

College Week concludes with “Our Future Is Bright” Day, a campus-wide celebration of future goals and possibilities.

> High school students will experience college-style learning as professors from various institutions teach during second period classes across campus.

> Middle school students will participate in a special chapel featuring college students sharing what a day in the life of a college student looks like.

> Elementary students will take part in a fun dress-up day, coming to school dressed as their future career.

This day highlights the many pathways available to our students and reinforces the message that preparation, purpose, and possibility go hand in hand.
